Barça Unveils Limited Edition Coldplay Jersey for El Clásico – How to Get Yours
FC Barcelona, as part of its sponsorship agreement with Spotify, will continue the initiative of unveiling innovative jerseys for El Clásico. This time, the band featured on the players’ jerseys will be Coldplay, and although there will be a limited number available for sale, you can purchase it at our store for only £29.99 here.
The match between Real Madrid and Barça will take place on October 26 at the Santiago Bernabéu. It’s a globally significant event, and Spotify uses it to promote some of the most important music groups. The women’s team will wear the jersey in their match against Eibar on November 2 at the Johan Cruyff Stadium. Spotify, Coldplay, and FC Barcelona will donate the proceeds from these collections to a joint project of the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and the FC Barcelona Foundation. Both FC Barcelona Foundation and UNHCR recognize the power of sport to transform lives. The Barcelona club made the announcement using the media presence of some of its star players. In the video, we see Lamine Yamal and Robert Lewandowski from the men’s team, while World Cup champions Alexia Putellas and Salma Paralluelo represent the women’s team.
Coldplay has a special connection with FC Barcelona. Their song “Viva la Vida” was considered the unofficial anthem of the Pep Team that won the sextuple in 2009.
The British band’s emblem that will appear on the jersey is inspired by their tenth album ‘Moon Music,’ released on October 4, from which the singles “feelslikeimfallinginlove” and “WE PRAY,” featuring Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyanna, and TINI, have already been released. As is customary with these iconic logo changes, two exclusive editions of the match jersey will be sold, available starting this Friday, the 18th, in Barça Stores and on the club’s e-commerce platform. Before that, starting on Thursday, the 17th, a pre-sale registration page will open, with pre-orders beginning at 11:30 PM and running until the physical stores open on Friday, the 18th, at 10 AM.
One of the limited editions will consist of 1,899 units in Match quality with Coldplay’s logo, and another, more exclusive edition, will have only 22 units, also in Match quality, with a fluorescent effect on the logo and the signatures of the starting players from both the men’s and women’s Clásico matches.

We’ve had a special relationship with the city and the club for many years. We are also proud to support UNHCR in their life-saving work protecting refugees and displaced people worldwide. FC Barcelona, Spotify, and Coldplay will also release a lifestyle clothing line this Friday, both in Barça Stores and on the club’s e-commerce platform, including t-shirts, hoodies, and a scarf. This merchandise combines graphics from the British band’s ‘Moon Music’ with FC Barcelona’s and Spotify’s corporate imagery.
